Allocation points⁉️ rewards per block⁉️ WTH is 30X⁉️ 🤔
Hey, if you are reading this, you were probably asking yourself those questions. Here we will explain it for you, so there is more understanding of for the process works and what should you expect. And we will start from... 🥁
Block
A block records all the transactions on the blockchain. Once written, can be removed or changed. Miners calculating those blocks, the average time for processing one block is 3 sec. More info on blocks in #BSC can be found here https://bscscan.com/blocks
Reward per block
Reward per block is a reward (duh) that is given for a certain amount of time (block, ~3 secs) Reward per block is set by the farming provider and can be adjusted later to regulate the inflation/deflation rate etc. Our initial reward per block is set to 4. This means 4 $BORSHCH tokens will be created every 3 seconds and distributed between our beloved farmers 💕.
Allocation points
When a pool is created, certain allocation points are set to it. All allocation points sum up to total allocation points. For example. we have 2 pools — BORSHCH-BNB and BORSHCH-BUSD. The first one has allocation points set to 30, the second one — 15. The total number is 45, which means that 66,66..% of all rewards will go to the first pool, and 33,3..% to the second one. In our case — 2,64 $BORSHCH tokens will be distributed between BORSHCH-BNB farmers and 1,2 $BORSHCH tokens will be distributed between BORSHCH-BUSD farmers every 3 seconds.
Note: this is the only example and does not reflect the current situation on borshch.finance.
30X
30X represents the allocation points mentioned earlier. You can sum up all Xs for all pools at borshch.finance and divide your desired pool allocation point to this sum to know what percent of total rewards will be allocated you your pool.
